Introduction
My
first exposure into the world of IT was back in 1980 when my father
brought home our first computer a 'Sinclair ZX80'. He actively encouraged
my interest in IT and before long we had upgraded from the ZX80 to the
ZX81 and then to the BBC Model B.
In 1981 I joined the hallowed halls of the then Kings Grammar School continuing my studies in science and computer technology, where in 1983 I completed my 'O' level education and moved to Sidmouth College to concentrate on my Sciences at 'A' level.
In 1985 I took a year out prior to continuing my education at University, however in the June of '86 I was offered a position within the IT industry working for the Inland Revenue. This was the start of my professional life within the technological world of Information Technology.
